Sync Photo - SmugMug 4.3

Sync Photo provides a means to download images from a user's SmugMug account directly onto an iOS device, enabling local viewing of photographs. After logging into your SmugMug account through Sync Photo, it facilitates a quick and efficient transfer of selected galleries to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. The interface allows for seamless browsing of photos, resembling the experience of a photo roll, with no delays during viewing since images are pre-downloaded during synchronization.

The application supports downloading images at higher resolutions to enable detailed zooming. However, it is noted that larger images may result in slower transitions between photos. Additionally, EXIF data such as exposure settings and ISO information can be viewed on individual images.

Photos are automatically rotated to match the device screen’s aspect ratio, ensuring optimal display. Users can also zoom images to fill the entire screen, eliminating borders or empty space around the photograph.

The home screen offers a choice between displaying a list of top-level folders (categories) or a comprehensive list of all downloaded galleries, providing flexibility in navigation.

Sync Photo interfaces exclusively with a user's SmugMug account, which is a cloud-based service where users host their photographs. The application only reads, views, and downloads content; it does not have the capability to store photos on SmugMug.
